PARENTAL BULLETIN – 13 DECEMBER 2019

CHRISTMAS BREAK UP

Arrangements for the last day of term: Next Friday, 20th December, is the final day of term. This will be a Christmas themed non-uniform day (Christmas jumpers, festive theme). We are asking students to pay £1.00 (this will be collected in tutor time throughout the week), so that we can make a donation to Save the Children. At extended break Mr Lawrence will be running his Christmas Karaoke when we will also be having a Rewards Bonanza!  Students will be dismissed by their form tutors from 12.30pm on Friday 20th December.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

Wednesday 18th December. Please see the attached poster.

COMMUNITY CONSIDERATION

There have been some concerns from local residents that their driveways keep getting blocked and are unable to leave their homes due to inconsiderate parking by some of our parents.  If collecting by car please do so from the turning bay at Easemore Road. We also would like to remind parents and students that whilst travelling to and from school in the Trinity High School uniform, students are our ambassadors, and as such we expect students to be showing the school in a good light and not bringing the school name into disrepute with poor behaviour out in the community.

CHEMISTRY INTERVENTION

Year 11 GCSE Chemistry intervention each Wednesday after school- all students welcome! Thanks

HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE CATCH-UP

There will be no Health and Social Care catch-up next Wednesday but will restart after the holidays.

WORLD CINEMA CLUB

No World Cinema Club Thursday 19th December due to Awards Evening. Joyeux Noel!

In our drive to broaden our vocabulary, please find our new T2 Word of the week – FEATURE:

  • The new mobile phone had many more features than the older ones (noun).
  • This month’s podcast has a special feature on the best Christmas films ever (noun).
  • This hotel features a 50m swimming pool and its own nail bar (verb).

Vocab Builder Word of the Week: ‘concinnate’ – verb, to arrange or blend together with precision.
