MOVEMBER

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. Anyone wishing to donate, please put any monies in an envelope marked with your child’s name and amount. Please ask your child to give to their form tutor. Details on money raised will be announced later in the year. Thank you.

DOFE PRACTICE WALK – SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER

This walk has been canceled due to the recent weather causing adverse walking conditions. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Y13 PARENTS’ EVENING RESCHEDULED

This will now take place on Thursday 28th November between 4-7pm. (Last slot 6.30pm). To book a slot either use the link attached or go our website under “Parents” dropdown to “Parents’ Evening” where it talks you through booking a slot. REMINDERS FOR STUDENT APPOINTMENTS

Can parents please ensure Trinity High School is notified, if possible, at least 24 hours in advance of any appointments for which students will be out of school.

UPDATE ON Y10 & Y11 BOYS’ TOILETS

Our toilet refurbishment is on schedule for completion before the end of term.

CAREERS

All reply slips for the NEC Skills Show on the 22nd November need to be returned by Monday 18th November as there are only a few places left. Year 11 have Careers/ Employability workshops on Tuesday 19th November P2 and P3. Then it is the annual Careers Fair on Wednesday 20th November for the whole school.

HOSPITALITY & CATERING

Level 1 and 2 Hospitality and Catering revision books are available from the Food Department for £7.50. These will help with both the coursework and exam.

Summer 2019 Certificates are now on Reception ready for collection

In our drive to broaden our vocabulary, please find our new T2 Word of the week – DESIGN:

  • He had just unveiled his new design for the stadium (noun).
