A Level Results 2018

Trinity High School would like to congratulate all its A level students on this year’s outstanding results. This is testament to the hard work, dedication and talent of the students and their teachers. A Level and Vocational results at Trinity have gone from strength to strength in recent years and we are very proud of the breadth and variety of courses and opportunities which this school continues to offer. This year has seen a significant rise in the number of top grades awarded to students, in particular in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Sports Studies.

Top performers this year include:

Ella Bingham – 3 A* in French, Philosophy and History

Lydia Wilson – 3 A* in Maths, Biology and Chemistry

Charlie Wainwright – 1 A* and 2 A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry

Charlie Harris – 1 A* and 2 A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry

Sophie Taylor – 2 As and B in Biology, Geography and History

Maleehah Hussain - A B C in Maths, Biology and Chemistry

Lizzie Houldey - A* A  B in Biology Chemistry and Sports Studies

Billie-Jo Beech - A and 2 Bs in Psychology, Health and Social Care and Philosophy

Rory Dodson - 3 Bs in Maths, Physics and Chemistry

Olivia Clark - A B C in English Language, English Literature and History

Jack McLarney – A B C in Business, English Language and Maths

We are also delighted that such a high proportion of students achieved or exceeded their target grades and have gained places at their first choice universities. This year students from Trinity will be going to study at a number of universities, Including Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham, Aston, and Leeds.

Students are going on to study a range of courses including French and Italian, History of Art, Medicine, Pharmacy, Ophthalmology, Musical Theatre, Aeronautical Engineering and Neuro-Science. Other students are going on to higher level apprenticeships and employment.
